SYNOPSIS

 

Contenders tells the underdog story of the Fall Mountain Regional High School football team. Beginning in their earliest days and following the team through the 2024 season, the documentary tells the history of the program, their ups and downs, and their turnaround when an alumnus and former player takes over as head coach in 2017.
